Transitions a body of work

As I move from my home studio and towards going back to the postgraduate studio sometime in September, I have had to make the decision to give up my studio based in Hitchin. This is a move to consolidate the sustainability of my practice.

During this three month transition period, I am going to the studio whilst I can and working on the pieces that were unfinished when I moved my practice into the postgraduate studios in September 2019. It felt like some unfinished business and I felt it fitting to take elements of this work and bring them forward, rework them and consolidate this chapter of the story before moving on. There are elements in this work which are fundamental and repetitious. Here I will start with a survey of the work and then I will present the work as it unfolds through a series of visual and textual pieces produced in sketchbooks I had at the studio. The journey back and forth to the studio is also being recorded and I think I will present these as animated video.
